The ENERGY STAR seal is prominently displayed on many household appliances such as computers, heating and air conditioning systems, can openers, microwave ovens, etc.  In early 2002 the Environmental Protection Agency began work to develop ENERGY STAR standards for appliances used in commercial kitchens.  On July 31, 2007 ENERGY STAR announced the standards for commercial dishwashing machines.  Fortunately, for Auto-Chlor all of our newly manufactured dishwashing machines meet the newly defined ENERGY STAR standards.
